A Desire Left "Stranded" No More
I close my eyes. Soon I've fallen asleep, and throughout the bumps, I keep sleeping. It's a little bit tiring to sleep like this, but what other option do I have. I have so much work to do, so many places to go and so many moments to live. It tires me. And among the days, my eyes drift into the dark, reminding me of the dark of my eyes. They say I have very deep eyes. And they also say my black hair should not be turned blonde in the spur of rebellion. People don't have as black hair as me.

But they also don't know that my hair is rough. They've been through a lot. My hair, they're damaged, tired and need rest; just like me. But I live on coffee, what's the coffee for my hair, to keep them live and bouncing? Tuning into facebook everyday and looking at the pictures of models with great hair... I just wish to snuggle in my blanket and go to sleep. Wishing that when I wake up, my hair is magically transformed into the beauty that they have.
Sometimes, I wish I had magic.
But I forget that I do. My hair has the option to flaunt it's silky smooth texture like in the movies. Cinematic and dramatic, with a perfect ending.
I can go in the sun, feel the spring warmth and take instagram shots showing off my perfect life; my perfect hair. With my dentist smile.
In this shell that we live in, this life, we often forget that things are interconnected. Our hair shares the core with the same material as the shiny lady bug shell, or that beautiful blue beetle in Lion King in Hakuna Matata; Keratin. Keratin is a protein the hair and nails are made of. Over time, just like we lose our energy to carry on with life, our hair loses it's freshness. And rejuvenation is a must. That can only be done through a great keratin treatment.
Our dreams stranded. Like the strands of our hair.
And as you feel the wind in your hair, and feel the strands hitting your eye, know that you can have it all. It all is just a step away.
