Oriental Opulence - Republic by Omar Farooq

I like Republic. I think its very obvious. Somewhere along the way it got a bit...mainstream but I think Omar has really let the brand evolve and delve more into the art of fashion. It's very apparent with the Oriental Opulence collection. Photographed by the amazing Abdullah Haris and modeled by Hasnain Lehri, this photo shoot is just beautiful. It was shot in Hunza and the colors of the clothes really shine with the backdrop. It could not have been better than this imo.

The sweatshirts and the jackets are just to die for. The embroidery on them just adds another dimension. But i think it would be hard to pull off in real life, unless one has an eccentric taste. Moreover the styling with the sneaks and the glasses brings the collection on the forefront with the current trends - a step away from the dapper Republic we have come to know.
