All in all, the menswear, in retrospect, has improved over the years. More designers are venturing into menswear and there was more variety this year than earlier years. I guess it's a good thing? But all in all, I felt everyone tried to play it safe. Of course, the economy is tumbling down, and so will the sense of fashion that money controls. We all have to be cautious of how we spend money and I think it will show in the way we dress. Thus, the design senses we adopt now will have to be less frivolous and more reflective of our lives. But maybe it's just me. Even so, the embroideries were mostly minimalist and less dramatic even in womenswear. The era of showing off is over. Let's stay classy now *wink wink*
