Milan Fashion Week Menswear: LooksILike from Day 3

[caption id="attachment_2723" align="aligncenter" width="360"]The Diesel Black Gold collection was a disappointment. Not muh to offer in terms of design and the styling was pathetic. Only some pieces were good enough, and almost all looks were unstructured and were trying too hard. Though individual pieces may look better, blame it on the styling in my opinion. I like this look. Much more accpetable than the others. Image Courtesy: Style.com The Diesel Black Gold S/S 2014 collection was a disappointment. Not muh to offer in terms of design and the styling was pathetic. It was well structured, well thought out, cohesive and a modern man's dream come true. Though the "Digital" collection may seem too simple, it keeps the concept of minimalism in the digital age intact and delivers it well. Giving it a more earthy feel to the collection, the cuts and the jackets made the collection a delight. It was a breezy collection, though not very hard hitting. Just check out the rustic feel of this look! Image Courtesy: ShowStudio.com Gucci's S/S took on the floral trend to a whole new level- a whole collection centered around it. The collection featured awesome boots and accents of leather and the crooked metalwork made the collection beautiful. It was out of the box luxury at it's best. It was very hard to choose which look was the best. Image Courtesy: ShowStudio.com Etro's S/S 2014 collection featured a new take on an old style concept - The Mexican Wild West. It was a bright collection with suits and jackets worth having! It was a great collection but it broke no boundaries. Still, it managed to come out pretty good. And if you look at the way the coats drape down, the traditional turkish cap begins to make sense and we realize how it's a very cultural yet very modern collection. The colors were turkish and the collection did have a turkish feel to it, It was a well structured collection. Image Courtesy: ShowStudio.com Umit Benan is a Turkish Designer.
