If You Use Your Words As a Weapon, Then As a Weapon I'll Shed No Tears

It takes a lot of courage to speak up. About anything. And then there's something called speaking out. When you put your words and voice out there for the world to read and hear, you're putting out a part of your soul, your body, your mind, a part of everything you are. It takes a great deal of guts to get to that point where you descend into the unknown knowing everyone there knows about you, because you have revealed yourself. You lift the veil, you bare your soul, and it's just gut wrenching. But you do it anyway, because there is no other way.

But will they believe you? Will they trust you like you trusted them? No. But you must remember, you did it only to relieve YOURSELF of the burden. You did all for yourself. to feel lighter. It is entirely up to them to believe or not believe you, you've done what you could do. They couldn't do it for themselves, why let them get to you?

When you step out of your comfort zone and let the words flow, you lose a lot. You lose your image, your dignity, your sanity, your reputation. But that's what people do. They talk and they assume.

But you should know you've played your part. And that's all that matters.
