LooksILike from the London Collections Men A/W ’14: Day 2

[caption id="attachment_3319" align="aligncenter" width="375"]Expect J.W. Anderson to keep things all amped up and intriguing with his collections. The collection was definitely worthy of the buzz, it's not everyday a designer has the sensibility to bring in femininity into menswear and yet make it look so effortless in not-an-eye-sore kinda way. The floral prints were grungy enough and the colors of tho whole collection were subtle and subdued to give it a much darker look, in my opinion. Expect J.W. [caption id="attachment_3320" align="aligncenter" width="375"]Christopher Raeburn's collection at the LCM featured outerwear; jackets and coats that were extremely practical and featured a heavy dose of fur. It is understandable since he drew inspiration from the Arctic and the polar bears. It featured lost of white (Duh). It would be the perfect winter collection, as no one would know better than the ones who've been to the arctic, so expect to be not let down by the awesome warmth-ness of this collection. [caption id="attachment_3321" align="aligncenter" width="372"]Hunter gather's A/W '14 collection was a very dark winter collection, with hints of colors thrown here and there; literally. It was a very artsy collection with loads of winter coating options, like jackets that were mostly the biker but also the essential baseball. The paint splattered prints were the highlight of the show. With loads of black and white, this was one "cool" winter collection that might keep the young ones coming for it. There's not much to say except it was very plain and elegant; extremely wearable. Very safe. Margaret Howell's show was clean and simple, just like the collection itself. [caption id="attachment_3324" align="aligncenter" width="375"]Richard James' A/W '14 collection featured some bling, but at the most it was a very conventional collection. It featured clothing for the kind of man who doesn't like to step out looking like a guy who likes to play with his clothes, it was very safe. But very dapper. Props for the collection being very wearable and featuring the regular dull winter colors. the two glittery suits presented were off the track and featured something new. Maybe the designer can branch out, it did show some wings? Richard James' A/W '14 collection featured some bling, but at the most it was a very conventional collection. [caption id="attachment_3326" align="aligncenter" width="375"]Nicole Farhi's A/W '14 collection was the kind of collection for the kind of guy who's laid back and very loose with life. It was a young looking collection with lots of loose clothes and printed jumpers in grey and black and white. Nicole Farhi's A/W '14 collection was the kind of collection for the kind of guy who's laid back and very loose with life. It was a young looking collection with lots of loose clothes and printed jumpers in grey and black and white. The jackets were the same, giving  off a younger look and being the kind anyone would like to casually don. Casual winter wear; that's what the collection was.[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_3327" align="aligncenter" width="375"]Hackett London's collection was one collection that stood out for the sheer cohesiveness of it while being super practical. It featured plaid on almost everything, and while the collection was very grey (that's what plaid usually suits up in) it was extremely smart and elegant. It's the kind of collection that will make heads turn, props to the stylist for that, but it was very modern chic.
