"We Can't Stop" Thinking About Miley Cyrus' New Video

You remember when Miley Cyrus got a haircut and the whole world went crazy and was constantly going on and on for months about how "Miley has lost it"? People were just not ready to let her go. And ever since then she's been one of the biggest targets of the tabloids. Well, now it's her time to target the people and dominate the charts with her new single "We Can't Stop" and prove how she has not just got a new haircut but a new sound to her music.
And we're liking what we hear. Released with great come back strategies (the hair, the engagement and Miley winning the title of Maxim's Hottest Woman) this song was sure to have intrigued even the non-Miley fans, and the feedback has been positive so far. Everyone's loving it! The song has a hip hop and pop feel to it. It's something you don't get to hear a lot and even though the song is weird, it sticks to the mind in a way that's not annoying. Obviously, the lyrics are aimed at telling the people that she will do what she likes as it's her life and she can live it her way.
But here's the shocker; the video. It's Taylor Swift's 22 meet Lady Gaga's Just Dance and not that it's not Miley, it's just that the video seems like a done to death concept and doesn't really show how Miley has grown up, if you think exuding sexuality and partying crazy is that., because it's not. Though Miley does make a statement through her video, which shows her and her friends twerking and dancing and blowing smoke through weird body parts, it seems as if she's trying too hard. That said, the video is still a fun video. It's in sync with the song but we just wish she would stop trying so hard. Yes, we get it. You have grown up, and should leave you alone, but if you keep doing things like these, how can we? Still, the video is not too bizarre and is somehow visually acceptable.
The song itself is very addictive though!
