Why Rizwanullah is Not Only a Style Icon but an Attitude Symbol

The west has had it's fare share of people who break barriers and stand out for all the wrong reasons and are outrageous. What's wrong to us, is right in their world. And people respect that fact, and that's why they're so famous. For being themselves and encouraging honesty and dissing hypocrisy. Madonna, Lady Gaga, Boy George etc. are all famous for not only their attitude and beliefs, but their sense of style as well. And all of it combined gives us a person that goes down in history. Unfortunately, the entertainment industry in Pakistan is devoid of such people. There might be some, but not too much to be in the spotlight (me being one ;) ! ).

Of all the years of following the music and fashion industry of Pakistan, I hardly came across anyone who would be the Pakistani version of Lady Gaga. But soon enough, there emerged someone who could fit into the category of being the person who lives his/her designs. Rizwanullah is that person. Known for his edginess and his outrageous sense of fashion and lifestyle (he's a recovered heroin addict and is not afraid to admit his flaws) he's the guy with the super model wife, Fayezah Ansari. Pinned down by a lot of people for being himself, I think it's just plain wrong to point out his flaws. If you're going to be a part of the world that's known for being too "exposed" why would you look down upon a person who embraces every part of it. He's the guy who died his hair blonde, kissed his wife on the ramp, and wore a jumpsuit on national TV. He's the exact person that actually defines "living the life." Thus he is the perfect idol for people who wanna breakout. In life and in Fashion. His collections over the years at all the fashion weeks only prove his mettle as an innovative designer who is not afraid to think and go out of the box. And his mind shows in his shows at the fashion weeks, they are fun, hip and the clothes are to die for.

He's stylish in a way that is not usually associated with men in Pakistan. And that is what makes him best dressed, so no wonder he won best dressed at the LSA's. His life has had it's ups and downs and they all have been in the public eye. But the way he handles it, it's amazing. having had the opportunity to talk to the couple, I can tell you how genuinely nice they both are. True to the heart. And true to himself.
