Arsalan Iqbal's Powerful Slum of Art

Arsalan Iqbal is one of those designers who take creativity to another level when it comes to creating clothes that speak on their own. But what was so different about the Devolution Chic collection was that it brought together so much creative energy together to create individual looks, that it gave strength to the looks on the whole. Which resulted in creating a strong collection.

The whole point of the collection was to create clothes that spoke for themselves. But besides the clothes, my favorite part has got to be the shoes. The colorful studded shoes being my favorite, the sneakers, made in collaboration with the artist Sanki, were just amazing. Everything went really great with the collection.

Having had the chance to see the collection up close, the craftsmanship is what one can not notice on the ramp. The quilted jackets and shorts were really beautiful. And you could see the detailing on the shoes as well.

The collection was an ode to creativity, and the power of collaborations. I have always said that artists can thrive only when they come together to celebrate what makes them special and show the world their powers. Arsalan Iqbal took to paying heed to the work that these artists were producing, and incorporate it into his own art house.
