Pretending to be father figures
They take the roles of guides
Guide us in life they do,
But look at their strides

Thrashing words this innocence writes
Telling them they're not
Good enough to be somebody big
So it's good to stay small.

Bullies make a huge part of my life. And now that I look back, I see some other bullies. Bullies who I though were people who cared about me. But all they did was push their insecurities on me, making me believe I can not be anyone, or anybody. And I'm sorry they felt that way. If only they'd just believe, in themselves, in the people under them. But sorry, how can an older person tell a small kid that he is right. Elders HAVE to be right. And we kids have to blindly follow them...
